I am looking for descendants that might be related to Agnes Dickhaus. This is how the spelling was when they married in 1858 in Cincy. We know now that she probably was from the DAMME, Germany area--Ollerup being "Oldorf" near Dummerlussen, few miles east of Damme. They attended the St. Viktor's Catholic Church. Joseph Kleine noted he was from Oldenburg, which I believe might be the area of today's Steinfield, just north of Damme. We believe that Agnes immigrated to Cincy in the early 1830's (about 1833 or 1834) with a sister and her mother. Their name may have been spelled DYCKHUES or DYCKHAUS. Much to share about descendants of this family.
