louis kleiman immigrated c1900

Wow! I didn't even know there were other Kleimans out there. The Kleiman family on my side is Jewish and from disputed area between Russia and Poland. The town was called Chomsk and was completely destroyed during WWII in the holocaust.

My great grandfather Louis Kleiman came to the United States at the turn of the century after a anti-Semitic hostility drove him to immigrate. He came to Hartford CT where my family is from. His sister came a little bit later and had a daughter. Other than that, I know of no other Kleimans.

Does anyone have a similar story. I've always wanted to find out if I had any other family since mine is so small.
