I don't know if there is a connection but my great grandparents (Kleeman) were living in rural Lawerence County as of 1900 and had 9 children, one of which was my grandfather, ALfred KLeeman who was born around 1910 ( I don't know the specific date off the top of my head but can get it easily). My great grandparents and all the decendents are buried at EastView cemenatary in rural Lawerence County, including my father who has just recently passed. My grandfather had 9 siblings all born during the turn of the century period. I remeber a few of the stories my grandfather told and one of my great aunts had the genology done at one time tracing the family back 3-4 generation in germany prior to coming to the states. I know my great grandfather Kleeman came to the states from Germany when he was a young lad of approximately 13. I remeber my grandfather saying he came over with 3 brothers, that's about all I do know for sure. I don't know if this is of any help.
