Thanks for your message. Until I received it recently no, I have not done any more research on Peter Kleckner and family or anybody else for that matter due to a major illness.

Now that I'm back, thanks for your suggestions. Marshall Co., IN is a hotbed of genealogical tracks for my family including Kleckner, Gerard, Adams, Grisez etc. In case you don't know and want to, Peter was b. 6/12/1795 in Washington County, PA., d. 3/17/1884 in Indiana (Plymouth or Bourbon I think). His obit says he is interred in the Salem Cemetery. He left PA to go with his parents to Ohio in 1804. He was a Lutheran.

How do you research information about the War of 1812? Peter served as a private in that war according to his obituary, so it would be a good place to look.
