John Klausman (Clausman) - 1887 - MN

Looking for information about John Klausman (could be Clausman, or any other variation.) He was born about 1887 or 1888 and in the 1895 Minnesota state census he was 6 years old. By 1900 his name has changed to John HOPPE and the folks he is living with, Peter and Anna (Fick) Hoppe, are in their 60s.

John's "brother" Joseph Hoppe is 21 the first time we see John in this household. Joseph was listed as his father's "legally adopted son" in his probate papers in 1907. Nothing is mentioned of John. John did give the Hoppe name to his descendants, but little else is known of this man. I believe he died in Hennepin County, MN sometime in the 1950's.
