Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum
message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles
will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will
no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Rose, I can go back only to the first arrival in America. My line is as follows:
Nancy Klaus Hall, 1950 Edward Louis Klaus (father)born NYC 1921 Edward John Klaus (grandfather) born NYC 1895 William John Klaus 1865-1921 Capt. John William Klaus 1839-1920 This ancestor arrived in NYC in 1848 with his parents and nine sibblings. They settled on a farm at 45th street and 12th Avenue. I understand that many of these siblings grew up and migrated to the mid-west.
