I amsearching for the Klahr families of Schuylkill County and I keep comming to a dead end. My GGfrandfather was George Washington Glore/Klahr b. Aug 23, 1857 in Silvercreek Schuylkill County PA. He died Jan 20, 1929. He's burried at St. John's Luth. Cemetery with his wife Emma E. Lehman. I have all their children. On one of their children's babt. it is spelled Klahr. I thought it was a mistake but the more researching I do I think that was the correct spelling. I've also seen it spelled Clair/Klair. One of his children (mu great Aunt) still lives in Pinegrove or Potsville. Anyhow according to his death cert. his father was Henry Glore and his mother was Elizabeth Heinbach. But there is some confusion on her last name also from the family Bible which is now in Kansas City. I was just searching on the 1870 census index and came across Henry Klare 59 living in Pottsville so I decided to try your spelling on this forum. And I found you. Any help. By the way for some reason George Washington might aof also gone by Theodore????
