Robert Boyd, a veteran of the War of 1812 settled with several of his family relatives in Tuscaloosa Co., AL about 1830. The following info was transcribed from his family Bible: (Children) "Polly BOID was bourn Sept the 28 day of 1801; Jane BOID was bourn March the 29 year 1805; Sarah BOID was bourn July the 8 day year 1807; Elizabeth BOID was bourn October the 10, 1809; John Ala BOID was bourn January the 5 day 1812; Rachel BOID was bourn Sept the 27 day 1813; William Washington BOID was bourn April the 13 day 1817; Caty Carline BOID was bourn July the 15 year 1820." (Grandchildren) "(unknown -corner torn off) was bourn January 13th day 1823; Anna Carline KEZAR bourn Oct the 21 1827; John Alexander KEZAR bourn Sept the 1 day 1829 Jane MANICAH was bourn Dec the 16 day 1829; Robert Boid NEWEL was bourn Dec the 19th 1824; Matthew NEWEL was born Sept the 17 day 1827 I have previously attributed the "KIZZIAH" grandchildren to William M. and Elizabeth (BOYD) KIZZIAH, Jr. However, recent information indicates that a Robert KIZZIRE, residing in Fayette Co., AL had married a Polly BOYD. I have no evidence that this Polly might be Robert's daughter. Robert's son, William W. BOYD also married Sue KIZZIAH indicating a strong interaction of these families. I now need to verify who these KIZZIAH grandchildren really belong to. I have not been able to find them in later censuses. Notify Administrator about this message?
