There are no scratch marks that could be extra commas. George McKlejohn Kittrell is one name and Seth Kittrell and Reddick Kittrell are listed as two different people. On the second page of the document, the heirs are listed again: "Nancy who is duly married to Gideon Wright, George [no comma] McKlejohn, Benjamin, Leah Seth, and Reddick." The paper is signed "L Henderson for the petitioners." Perhaps L Henderson wasn't familiar enough about the family he was representing. Elsewhere in the estate records, a different document lists the sons as George, Micklejohn, Benjamin and Seth Reddick. Is that correct?
I will be happy to send you a copy of the confusing document if you will send me your address. Thanks.
