I find a George W. Kittinger in Alleghany County, Virginia
in 1850 born about 1812 with wife Eliza and 4 children
then ub 1860 born about 1813 no wife but 5 children, also in this census we learn he could not read or write ( which partially explains the discrepancy in his year of birth, Then again in 1880 born about 1810 living with his son Abraham and family. George is too young to be Rudolph's child and I find no record of any of Rudolph's osns having a son named George. Is this even one of our Kittingers?
Can anyone connect it?
Help would be appreciated.
