I am actually researching the John & Alcy Jean family of Heard Co., GA. We know they had a daughter named Carolyn, and now believe that she was most likely Caroline/Carolyn Kittley/Kitley. Her son Thomas Kittley appears on the 1860 census of Heard Co., GA (she is living near two of her brothers in Columbia Co., AR). However, I can't find anything of Thomas or his family after 1860. Not on the 1870 or 1880 census, and I have tried spelling Kittley about 15 different ways (with and without "s"). Does anyone have a clue where he went?

Also, three of John & Alcy's children had the middle name Hopson and I have wondered if one of them might have been related to the Hopson's. Especially and Absalom Hopson who seems to be moving around with them in the early 1800's in Georgia.
