Are you married to Dennis Young whose mother was Nora Kite? If so I have you in my family tree and we are related. My Mum (Jean Marshall nee Cotterell) and Aunt Joan Skelton nee Cotterell had a brainstorming session on the family tree on day for me and hence we got to you via Nora's family. Nora was the sister of my Mum's mother Marguerite (Daisy) Cotterell nee Kite b. 2.4.1904. Their parents were John and Ellen Martha Kite (nee Evans).
I have loads of family information to share with you, including much about Emanuel Kite who married Emily Harris at Holy Trinity Church, Twickenham on 2 June 1867. Emanuel's father was James Kite. I have a lot of certificates and also many family records that my Nan kept.
I was also told that Ellen Martha Evans derived from Welsh stock, but so far I have found that her father Robert was born in Harpendon, Herts to parents Robert and Susannah Evans. I am still waiting to see if the elder Robert is welsh! Ellen's mother was Ann Harrington who cam from Cork, S. Ireland and came to Heston, Middx to live with an aunt during the potato famine. They married on 5 August 1855 at Parish Church of New Brentford, Middx.
