Am looking for any information on a Mr. Kitching, 1st name & wife unknown, owned a prosperous brokerage business in Leeds, London and New York City until the stock market crash followed by the assassination of President Lincoln ruined him. He had five known children:

Broster b 1838, came to US in 1867, spent 9 yrs ea. in KS & TX before joining his younger brothers in Stuart, FL. Never married.

Susanna b 1841, came to US from England in early 1900's to stay with Broster in Stuart, FL, never married.

Pennington b 1844, naturalized in 1880's, came to Louisiana then to Jupiter, FL.

Walter b 1846, came to NYC aged 21 in 1867 to seek fortune. Worked 16 yrs trading with Indians in midwest, came to FL in 1883.

Sylvanus b prob 1848, was a tailor in England when brother Walter convinced him to settle in Sebastian, FL.

I am researching this family as pioneers of SE Florida and have information on some descendants. Any information will be appreciated.
