Just started researching Kitchings of Broomfleet on behalf of a friend. Her grandmother was Anne Eliza born 1876 d of Jabez (living with uncle Isaac Kitching in 1881 Census) Jabez and Isaac were sons of John and Eleanor nee Tindal. I have John as s of James and Answer bapt 1808 S Cave, James s of Thomas and Dinah 1787. Earliest names found in S Cave are Thomas, Benjamin and Amon, all of which occur in Adel as sons of John in the 1730s-50s but Adel is not close to S Cave.
