Dont think this will help anyone - but just in case, I am Simon J Kitchener, born in Winchester 1975, My dad Richard A J Kitchener (married Gillian Wood) was born in 1950, and my grandfather Jack A C Kitchener born around 1925 - all in Winchester Hampshire as far as I know.

I too have just (literally) started looking into my family history - I remember my grandparents references to Horatio when I was younger.

I hope this helps in some way - but doubt it. If you have anything that may help me I would be grateful.
