Hi all Kitchen researchers,

I just wanted to share what I have started in my search. I went Sunday, and asked my father for his DNA for Christmas. lol. He thinks I'm crazy anyway with all this searching, but he does look at it, and tells me stories of what he remembers. Ancestry has a special until 12-31-08, and it was all I wanted for Christmas. I have traced my fathers line to Matthew Kitchen born aprox. 1780- 1790, he died before 1850, his wife was Mary Thompson they had two children that I can find John Kitchen and Abigail. I believe a connection to Joseph Kitchen who married Patience Bridgers, and James Kitchen who married Margaret Anna Smith. I also believe that they are quakers from Virgina, and I need other Kitchens to help with our line. I sent the DNA results in Monday, and I can not wait for the results. I hope others take an interest, so that we can find a connection with are family lines.
