The August Frank tree resolves the problem saying:
Anna Maria Reis was born in 1889 in Biblis and her parents were Valentin Reis and Margaretha Doerr. She married Johann Kissel, born in 1776. But they do not admit that this Johann Kissel's parents were Johann
Reinhard and Katharina Glanzner.
So there is the dilemma. From the Kissel point of view, who were Anna Maria's parents
From the Reis point of view, who where Johann Kissel's parents.
I do not know anything about the Gernsheim Kissels. I don't think they settled in Southern Indiana.
By the way, where is Anroechte, Hessen, Germany? My Rexing family from Westfalen and Gelderland had a lot of connection with the Muenstermann family that came from Anroechte.
Is the Franck family from Biblis? I have a lot of Frank in the family. Here in the USA they the Frank in my family said they are from Holland.
