Yes, I'd say our ancestors would have to be distantly related at least, if their surname is KIRWAN, & they're from Graiguearush/Graiguerush, Kilmacthomas, Waterford, in Ireland!
[I'm the great great granddaughter of Brigid KIRWAN (1856?57?-1892/93), daughter of John KIRWAN & Anne MURRAY.]
According to family, & photographs in my family's possession, which were taken by various photographic studios in Worcester, Massachusetts, USA, in the 1890's:
Brigid had a sister Josie, who married a Mr Green.
John KIRWAN (Brigid's brother) wore the Regalia of the Hibernians.
Edmund KIRWAN (Brigid's brother) moved to New Zealand.
"Aunt Nanno" was also photographed.I have a photograph of that photograph on my computer, if any family member would like to see it?
