I am interested that you are related to Kirtons in Utah. My great Uncle, Major Walter Kirton, who was with the "Major Duke of Cornwall's Light Infantry" married a woman in Salt Lake City on March 31, 1906. I don't know what her maiden name was or when she died.

I know this because he remarried at the age of 53 in 1920, and this information about his first marriage was entered on his new marraige certificate.

If you have any information about this marriage I would appreciate it. Thanks.

My family originated in England in and around London England. My father, Lionel Argaent Kirton, immigrated to Canada to the city of Hamilton, Ontario in the 1920's, as did his brother Claude Hill Kirton. I have traced their family back to the early 1800's but so far haven't recognized any given names with addresses listed in
