Hi Sarah.
Your William KIRTON snr. may have been the one chr 9/6/1867 at Tilehurst St George (son of Soloman & Mary Ann nee KENT, m reg'd Dec 1857 Bradfield), who may have m Sarah Ann RICKETTS (b reg'd Dec. 1870 Sturminster Marshall, Dorset), m reg'd Dec. 1893 Basingstoke. They had dau Mary Elizabeth, b Tilehurst, b reg'd Dec. 1894 Bradfield. I would have expected more children though; do you know of any siblings of your grandfather? Or your grandmother's name and birthplace?
