This isn't really about St.Clair D. Kirtley, it was just the most recent listing I could find with your address.
I found a really good history,(by you) SOMEwhere on line, but haven't been able to find it again. I was so glad to see that you had deep sixed the "Sir" that so many people still insist on adding to Francis Kirtley. I went to England to discover that he never was a "Sir". Perhaps someone, wanting to add luster to the name, "hoped" that one up.
I have a pretty good line of descent from Francis's oldest son Thomas, and his 2nd wife, Dorothea (or Doratha, depending on who you talk to,) Jones. They were parents of Joseph,f/o Thomas,f/o Morris,f/o Eddie Francis Kirtley,m/o Allieanna, m/oEve Marie, mother of me. We have fair documentation, plus a picture of Dorothy's portrait painted about 1830, and other documentation with letters commissions etc. Is this the sort of thing you're interested in? If so, I will forward a.sa.p. Janet
