Lost William Kirtley can anyone help?

I'm looking for information on a William Kirtley whyo was in Indiana's 101st Regiment Co R and then Indiana's 58th Regiment. He served with my 2nd great grandfather (James H Hibbard James's wife was Agnes Kirtley) during the Civil War. I know great granddad enlisted for a period of three years at the age of 36 in the 101st in Wabash Indiana in 1864 and I followed him until 1865 when we was transferred to the 58th in Louisville Kentucky. From there I lost great granddad and family and have no idea what happen William Kirtley went either. Any help will be appreciated.
