I am researching my Kirsch ancestors in the Rotherhithe/Bermondsey/Southwark areas of London, England in the 1800's.
Albert Charles Kirsch, who married Sarah Bingley and had eleven children, was the son of Albert Carl Kirsch.
Albert Carl Kirsch was married to Hannah Spencer. They had Albert Charles and a daughter, Amelia Caroline, both of whom where born north of the River Thames at St George's-in-the-East, Middlesex. The story goes that the family originated from Prussia and came to England via Danzig.
