Keep your eye out for a Maria Josephine Kirsch born April 21, 1826. She immigrated with her younger brother (my great grandfather Philip) on August 12, 1854, and I have never found a record of her in the U.S. Think that she probably married between the end of August, 1854, and the 1860 census so I can't locate her by her maiden name.

If we do happen to "hit" on a connection with our Kirsch families, I can provide you with records back to the mid 1700s on the Kirsch family in Urexweiler and Marpingen, Saarland, Germany.
