Hi Cindy,
Hippolite was my great-great grandfather. I was told this information by a man named Rolland Trahoon. he is part of the Curwick family from Kansas. THe details about Hippolite are sketchy, but I was told he was married three times. The third time was to my great-great grandmother Susien Belgarde. She is supposed to be Pottawatomie Indian. THey had several children. Paul Curwick was a son of Hippolite and a brother to my great-great grandpa Napoleon Joseph. I have the names written down somewhere and I can forward you the info when I find it. I also have a familytree website that has some of the info. I need to uipdate it and make corrections. Do you happen to know about the other Curwicks now living in Indiana and who there descendents are? I have tried to contact some of them, but never heard anything. The tree is at Type the name Hippolite Curwick in and it should take you to the page. I'll keep you posted.
Thanks for the info.
~Danielle~ =)
