David Kirkwood 1772 PA, Wythe Cnty VA,Ohio, Indiana, Illinios

Does this strike anyone?

David Kirkwood came to Pittsburg, PA., USA c. 1772
from Londonderry (?), Ireland.
He fought in the war (many areas) until 1781 when he
became ill and was discharged by Gen. Washington,
settled in Shistu, PA.
He moved to Wythe County, VA in 1792.
Married Margarat Leech (?) in 1795.

William, Joseph, Catherin, Mary and ? son, Margaret and John (perhaps while in Wheeling, VA).
Moved in 1805 to Ohio where David died in 1847.

Our relatives in the southern Indiana - Illinois area
c. 1880's on the Kirkwood side are:
John Henry Kirkwood (called Harp/Harper for playing
the harmonica)
married Ann Margaret Vogel.

Elihu b. 1883 married Mary Love
Hannah, b. 1884 married Wm Auten
Charles H, b. 1890 married Sarah Johnson
Ethel May, b. 1892 married Dudley MacDonald
Frankie (?), b. 1893? died as child
Leonard, b. 1894 married Ersie Tipton
Alvah M, b. 1896 married Roy Greenwell (sp)
Ralph (went to New Mexico), b. 1898 Married Edna (?)
who was of Indian blood (He lived in New Mexico
Killed horse thief at age 16 or so in N.M it is
Wilford b. 1900 (my grandfather), married Bertha Worth
Three sons (one died as toddler)
James married Mary (?), then Evelyn
Ralph Earl Kirkwood married Florence Dickey
Warren Kirkwood marred Ann Derby
Delores Kirkwood married Jack Hayes
then Donald Boone
Frances Kirkwood marred John Slye
Mary Elizabeth b. 1902 married Lonny Nicholson
Geneva (sp). b. 1906 died as child.
