I too am a g-g-g-granddaughter of Mary C Kirksey/Kurksey. I stumbled upon yalls post and and putting the two post together found that John L. Coleman married Mary C. Hooten in Jasper County Ga in 1848.(info from ancestry.com) I am a little confused on the childrens, have 8 childern listed Nancy b. 1839-Mary b.1842-John b. 1844-Almira b. 1851-Thomas b. 1853-Emma b.1855 Franklin b. 1857 and William b.1860.
Any other info that yall have if you could send it my way,would be very gratful am at a standstill on Mary or John L. parents. Thank you Stephanie
