HUGH KIRKPATICK, SR - Revolutionary War Soldier

I am doing collateral genealogy work on families that were very closely tied with my Guthrie's in Washington County, Penn, and Harrison County, Ohio.

Can anyone tell me the scoop of where Hugh Kirkpatrick, Senior lived BEFORE Washington County, Pa in 1781 ?? Maybe I can find MY ANCESTOR (ie: Guthrie), traveling along with him - just like they did after in Washington County and then to Harrison County, Ohio.

I heard Hugh was either from Cecil County, Maryland - - or Broome's Bloom Plantation, in Baltimore County, Maryland.

Any early 1700's to mid-1700's info much appreciated. Researching the neighbors or families that married into your family can often be the way THRU the perverbial "brick walls."

Thanks !

Steve
