Well, my Alexander, if he is indeed the same person as your Alexander, was born circa 1670 in Dumfriesshire, Scotland. He had a son, also Alexander, born circa 1700 in Watties Neach, Dumfriesshire. He had five offspring. My ancestor was Andrew b. 1722, in Dumfriesshire, who married Margaret Gaston. Alexander served in the Revolutionary War on the American side. He also had five children. My ancestor was Elizabeth Kirkpatrick, b. 1775 in Somerset, New Jersey.
That is a part of my Kirkpatrick genealogy. This line does indeeed connect back to Sir Roger who connects directly to Charlemagne as shown on my chart.
