Kirkpatrick of Balmaghie Parish, Dumfries, Scotland

Hi All,

We are trying to get some information on John and Jane (Janet) Kirkpatrick who lived at Balmaghie, Dumfries in Scotland in 1841. They had 3 children, Agnes b.1836, Euphemia b. 1838 and Archibald Bennet b. 1841.

The family is not registered in Scotland in the 1851 census.

We believe that Euphemia Kirkpatrick went to Ireland and married an Orr Dunwoodie in Clones, Co. Monaghan in 1869. However, this Irish connection remains to be confirmed.

Would anyone have info on this family.
