Article in 'The Spartan' newspaper, Spartanburg, S.C., dated August 5, 1858. DEATH OF J.W. KIRKMAN With regret we are called upon to announce the death in this village, in the night of the 3rd instant, of Typhoid fever, J.W. KIRKMAN, printer, formerly of Baltimore, but more recently employed as foreman in the office of the Spartanburg Express. MR. KIRKMAN , by his kind manners, and upright conduct, had won largely the esteem of our citizens. --- { this is all that is written, don't know any more about him, hope it may help someone].
