Seeking information about the parents and siblings of Ida Jane Kirkman born June 3, 1881 in Ohio (probably Lawrence County as she was there on 1910 census). We know that she moved to California and died there, but was apparently buried in the Sowards Cemetery in Lawrence Co., OH She married a Gilbert Soward, born May 16, 1881 (from Lawrence Co., OH). Obviously her father was a Kirkman and we have (from Diana Tipsword's rootsweb posting), that her mother was a Morrison. We also know the names of two of her children: Griffin Albert Soward b. 1900 in OH and Orenia M. Soward Riddle, born 1903 and died 1986.
By 1920 she was living in Hungtington City, Cabell Co., WV and probably lived there for another 20 or so years at least before moving to California.
