Here is some new info. If anyone else has some more info to accompany what I have here please feel free to email me. I hope this may help someone else on their quest of our Kirkley lineage.

I got this info from a family member in S.C.:
Benjamin Franklin Kirkley(Great-great grandfather, born in Chesterfield Co.) father may have been
that farmer in Chesterfield with the 21 slaves. Not sure of his mother's name but she was a slave.
She had a sister named Rose Blakeney (her decendants are in Hartsville, SC. Benjamin married
Mary Magaline Daniels.Had 4 sons and one daughter(will be named below)
Children: (1st Son) Norman Gadsen Kirkley(my great grandfather) born 9/7/1900, died 11/4/64.
Married Virginia (Babe) Cussac(deceased) her father was named Fortune Cussac. Born to Virginia
and Norman Sr.was Norman G. Kirkley Jr. ( my grandfather) 12/17/21, married Maggie Gregg.(my
grandmother).Born to them was my father Byron Linwood Kirkley married Claudia Daye; had
me(Sharon Lynne Kirkley and Danielle Marie Kirkley)...Danielle married Curtis Hunter, they have
a daughter Sydney Marie.
(Norman Sr. married a second time to Nettie J. Thomas, they had one child Brenda Lee (Brenda
married W.W. Gardner, she had 2 children, Tamara and Philip) and Nettie and Norman Sr also
adopted two children: Charles ( has one son Charles Jr. and one grand child Assasata) and Nancy
( she had 4 girls, Natasha (deceased), April, Cynthia, and Savannah)
(2nd Son)David Kirkley(deceased) lived in Pittsburgh, Pa. 1st wife unknown had one daughter
Gloria second wife Lucille Kirkley still lives in Pittsburgh.
(1st and only Daughter) Susan Kirkley Basco.(deceased).married John Basco; no children.
(3rd Son) Leo Kirkley (deceased)- never married.
(4th Son) Bill Kirkley (deceased)- had 4 wives..Adopted Vivian Kirkley now lives in Florence.
Ben and Mary also adopted James Kirkley who lives in NC
James had 3 children Faye, Shirley Ann, and James Jr. they all live in Columbia, SC.
