R.C. Kirkham, Descendants of Soldier Tom Kirkham The above book is the story of Soldier Tom Kirkham, and his descendants, there is a copy of this book in the Lanark County Geneological Society's (Heritage House in Smith's Falls Ontario) library branch (their archives are between Perth and Carleton Place on Hwy 7 then head north on Concession 7 to #1970 the Drummon Centre in Drummond Twp. I myself also descend from Soldier Tom to the best of my knowledge not having seen the book myself as of yet. Will be looking at that this coming week hopefully. I have been told that My parents at the least are listed in this Kirkham book and I meself may also be named therein but I have not verified this yet. Once I have verified this I can send you what I do have. Currently I have a photo copy of the the land registry for the lots an concessions Concession 4 Lots 8 and 9 - 8 was granted by the crown to Samuel Dowdle 6 Nov 1820 was the patent, through a couple of owners to Thomas Kirkham 50 acres 14 Jun 1832, part 20 acres was then sold to his daughter Sarah (Sally)'s husband Robert Tysick and down that line. 9 was granted to Michael Murphy 29 Sep 1820 by the crown. thorugh a few owners and Thomas got 10 Acres 5 Poles, 15 May I also have Robert Tysicks Will 17 Aug 1884(photo copy) and a copy of the release made by his sone Thomas Tyzack (recorded Tyrack one sheet and Tysack on another dated 7 Jan 1885 These papers also list children of the Kirkham and Tyzack recieving parts in wills or being sold parts too.
