Jimmy Kirk - Colorado 1930s

I'm looking for any information on a Jimmy Kirk who was born in about 1893 (possibly in Michigan). It's my understanding that he may have worked at a water reservoir (Ashland reservoir) in Denver in the 1920s/1930s.

It's also possible that his full name was James Kirk. Unfortunately, I don't have any additional information.

I have come across a Samuel James Kirk who worked at the Ashland reservoir, which may be a possible match. I believe he was born in February 1892 and died in Colorado in April 1970. He was married to a woman named Minnie, and was the son of William and Nancy Kirk.

Any information or tips would be appreciated.
