Joseph Kirk,of Mercer, PA m. Ethel Ellen Farnham/Farman, of Salamanca, NY on 10-23-1865. They had 7 children. I am looking for information on Ethel, my great grand aunt, sister of Alexander H. Farnham/Farman, gr. grandfather. Their mother was Melinda UNK. b. 1808, NH. There is another person, Jacob Farnham/Farman, b. 1797, NY. Do not know what the relationship was though he may have been a brother-in-law. Melinda had 2 other children, Abigail & Elisha. Alexander was b. 1846, took part in the Civil War, d. 1893, Salamanca, NY where he had a grocery store. He may have died of an illness he contracted during the war. He was m. to Josephine Hanson, b. 1854, Catt. Co., NY, d. 3-14-1936, Niagara Falls, NY.
