Hi Gene,
Many thanks for your imput. Some of the information is informative and some I already have. Still very little on Jean Kirk.I believe that Fanny (Frances)McEntire is the sister of Eliza McEntire are sisters and there common mother is Jean Kirk and father William Kirk. Both Eliza and Fanny are listedin "One Hundred Years 1815-1914 of Pike County, Ohio Marriages" on page 297. Eliz is listed right above Fanny. The were born 4 years apart and married 4 years apart and lived in the same county. What amazes me is that Moses Tidd's father Thomas Echgohson (Onieda Tribesman).Strange Moses did not carry the name of his father, but of his mother Mary Tidd.My grandmother was Fanny's daughter and I belive she was Indian. Can't prove it except through family stories and old photos of grandma and her sisters plus dna test.Am I going to the reservation heck no!I find it strange also that Moses was born in Virginia, but his father was Oneida Indian which normally up in New York State. In fact I think they still are around the Syracuse, NY area. Again thanks for your help and it is much appreciated.
Sincerely
Roger Warren
