Dear Jane,
Thank you for your reply.I have Frederick Bolinger born 1760/70 in Pennsyl/N.Carolina? Died 1843 Witter, Madison Arkansas. He married Elizabeth (Betsy)Weaver in Claiborne Co. Tenn.I Have William Henry Bolinger as Frederick's father.I have so far as the children of Frederick Bolinger and Betsy Weaver-a daughter Catherine Bolinger who married Alexander Kirk.Intesteringly enough Sarah Kirk dau of William Kirk and Agnes Cain married William Sharp 1810 in Claiborne Co. Tennessee. Also her sister Agnes Kirk Married George Sharp, Jr. also in 1810.Thomas Kirk son of William and Agnes married Sarah Bolinger 1813 in Claiborne Co. Tennessee. His brother Armstead Kirk married Mary Bolinger 1818 in Claiborne Co. Tennessee.
I am still trying to find the birth date of William Kirk and Agnes Cain.I have that they had 17 children. How accurate this is I don't know.My daughter has 11 children and is on her 12th.Do these names click with any of yours?Or, do I have them mixed up with the Bolingers wrong?
The Congers came to America in 1740.From Johnbell Conger who was a bellmaker. He had 6 sons and we stem from the tribe of Joseph. So Far there isn't a Conger that we have not been able to tie into.
Gloria Conger from the Kirk line, my mom was a Kirk. Hope you can make sense of all of this. It is very late and I'm a little tired but I wanted to get this to you soon.
