According to all the info I've been able to find, Ed Goodman's children were by Susan Kirk and they all went by the Kirk name: Benjamin, b. 1836; Eliza, b. 1838; Susan "Succa", b. 4/27/1839; Wilmington "Will", b. 1846. All these children were in Lee Co., VA with their mother. Wilmington later went to Oklahoma and obtained Indian lands based on his father, Ed Goodman, being 1/2 Cherokee. Of course, Ed was actually Mulungeon but at that time they thought he was Indian.
