Dear Diane,

My Genetics & Genealogy Project is focused on testing male descendants of known German immigrants who arrived in America in the 1700's and 1800's in an effort to identify possible common genetic heritage back in Germany. If you know of any living Kirchner male descendants still bearing the surname, who you think may be connected to your Clara, you may wish to suggest they submit a sample for testing for the possibility of a match to another known line. If there are no known Kirchner surnamed males surviving who are related to Clara Kirchner, or if you just can't find any, then there is little this genetics project can do to help you. And via my traditional genealogical and historical research, in searching my Kerchner database, I have no knowledge about your Clara Kirchner, born 1909. Most of my traditional genealogical research, except for my own direct line, is focused on pre-1860 Kerchner and allied families. Good luck with your search.

Charles Kerchner
