Marcus Morris (1830 Morgan Co. AL.to after 1880) married Harriett Kirby (1838 Tenn.to aft.1867) They had three daughters, Mary Ellen (Born 1859) married to Charles Dale Owens, Cora Henrietta (Born 1864 married to Joseph Benjamin Owens (Owens men were brothers)and Belle Born 1861) married William Milton Scott (Scott was cousin to Owens brothers)..On Belle Scott's Death Certificate it has her mother as Lucinda Kirby...On Cora's Death Certificate it has her mother as ____Kirby... I am wondering if Harriett's name was Harriett Lucinda Kirby or if she had a sister named Lucinda Kirby and Marcus may have married at sometime sisters... It appears that Belle was the middle child if the birth dates are correct...Mary Ellen died in another state so I don't have her death certificate...I am researching Kirby, Morris, Owens, Scott, Rouse, Holden and Clinger Families.....any help will be appreciated....Geraldine
