According to my records, Josiah had a son named Philip (b. 1765). They both appear in the Surry Co., NC 1790 census. Philip was married to Talitha (Tabitha?) Witcher and was the father of Jesse (1/7/1802 - 8/30/1852), Samuel (b. 1800) Juda, Sarah (b. abt. 1804) and Joel (b. 3/7/1804). Jesse was my gggg grandfather. Have more up and down this line if you're interested.
