I would like to add to the data base the following reference:
Title: Viet Cong at Wounded Knee by Woody Kipp. In chapter one he states: "My adopted folks, Joe and Isabell Kipp..."
He also states "Although the name Kipp grows from Germanic roots, it has been part of the Blackfoot Confederacy for a few generations."

The book is an autobiography of Woody Kipp and some genealogy can be gleaned from it's chapters.
