Hello,
My name is Maria Mastin and I have connections with this KINTZ family. My 3rd great grandmother was Mary Matilda KINTZ (she went by Matilda) who married Lewis Nicholas LEY or LYE. Her parents were Peter KINTZ and Mary Ann BECHER. Barney KINTZ was Peter KINTZ's younger brother. I don't know who Mary LYE's parents were (maybe someone could provide me with that information?) but I know that they are all connected, at least through the KINTZ family.
My 4th great grandparents were Sebastian LEY/LYE and Mary Magdalena BERTON. I believe that Mary LYE (Barney KINTZ's wife) is somehow related to my LEY family (ie: Sebastian LEY's family) and I'm trying to piece them all together.
I also have connections through the BERTON family to the CONAGHAN family. Mary Louise BERTON, sister of Mary Magdalena BERTON married Charles CONAGHAN. Another sibling of Barney and Peter KINTZ, George KINTZ, married a CONAGHAN. Her name was Lucinda or Cecelia CONAGHAN.
