Edward Patrick Kinsella gave his age as 29 on the 1903 marriage cert. Emma Lilian was aged 22. EP's occupation is down as artist and his father's (Patrick) occupation is down as actor. In the 1901 Census EP's birtplace is registered as Liverpool and his occupation is artist book illustrator. He illustrated many books, some by George Robey who was known as the Prime Minister of Mirth. Around 1906 EP's postcard of a boy playing cricket was mass produced and became part of a set of six. There is also a set of six depicting a boy playing soccer, a girl playing with a diabolo, and a boy cycling - they are known as the "Kinsella Kids". There was an article about EP in the Picture Postcard Monthly in 1984 which was quite good. EP also illustrated other postcards, some theatre related. I will post a bit more later.
