I'm looking for information about Eaton K. Kinney and his brother, Gaylord W. Kinney, both from the Miller/Baker/Dougherty County areas of southwest Georgia. Specifically, I'm trying to identify their Kinney father and his family. In the 1880 US Census, their mother has married John Norman and the brothers are listed as stepsons.
Gaylord married his cousin Willie Bessie Kinney. According to the 1900 US Census, before their marriage he apparently lived in the household of her father, Marion C. Kinney (my 2great-uncle). He is listed as a "cousin."
That's my only clue.
