Just in case there might be a connection, the Susanna Kinnan (posted a few below yours) I am seeking information on had a son, Joseph Kinnan Lewis(b. 1-20-1795), in Basking Ridge, about the same time as you believe your Thomas Kinnan was born. Interestingly, Susanna Kinnan's husband, Thomas Lewis(b. 5-11-1765), had a sister named Mary (Polly) Lewis (b. 8-22-1763), who married Joseph Kinnan on 1-8-1778, of which I have no other information. Perhaps we could be seeking a common ancestor. At this time and location there seem to be a lot of mixing of Lewis, Sutton, Kinnan, and, Bedell families.
