Hi Audrey,

I am just beginning on my Logan line. I am real fuzzy about some of the information I have, but I am related to Elizabeth Logan b. 1780 in Washington County, VA d.1840 in Saline County Mo. She married Joseph McReynolds in Washington County on May 12, 1802. I show her father as James Logan b. 1747 d. 1819 no known places or known spouse. I show him as the son of Robert Logan b. 1695 d.1790 and Betthiah (sp?) Shaw 1725-1791. If this is all true Robert died at 95, hard to believe in those days and there is a 30 year difference in age between him and Betthiah. I have also seen reference to them having 3 children. Could one of the children be John, James' brother? I have no documentation to prove any of this, so I maybe on a really wrong track. Please let me know if this ties in with your John and Elizabeth.

Thank you,
Cindy Mullins
