I visited Ladysbridge last year, The Keniry/Kiniry family come from a two house village just outside towards carry voy beach. Its a beautiful place. William is a family name and is on headstones in the graveyard of the disused church there. Its not far from Queenstown (now called Cobe) where the liners far America left from. (including the Titanic). My great uncle William Keniry left there for the US sometime before w.w.1 He went th N.Y. with his brother and sister. My father John Keniry visited them there when he was in the Navy during W.W.11 Ladysbridge is at a crossroads and is dominated by a beautiful thatched pub, There is not much there, its only a few miles from the Atlantic coast and not far from the biggest distillery in Ireland.
