I now have a little more information on my John Kingston. He immigrated to the U.S. in 1870, stopping briefly in N.Y. before arriving in Cherry Twp., Montgomery Co., Ks. By 1875, another John Kingston (b. ca. 1815 in England) and his wife Hester (b. ca. 1821 in England) were also in Ks., possibly the parents of John Kingston (Jr.?). Another Kingston--George--immigrated to U.S. from England in 1872, and came to Cherry Twp. by 1875 via Ohio, possibly a brother. Anyone with further info. about these Kingstons?
